My keyboard also lacks French accents. I felt, however, that the true emotional impact of this story could only be properly imparted in one of the Romance languages. English, and indeed any Germanic language, just wasn`t going to cut it.
Cool, glad to know my French isn`t too bad. As a Canadian I studied it from kindergarten until high school but never became fluent and forgot most of it through lack of use!

ReplyDeleteThat's very nice. There's a few minor mistakes, but it is very well written (heck, there are less mistakes than on most french personal webpages :D)
