About Famicomblog

This began as a blog about the Famicom and my experience trying to collect all 1051 of the Famicom games officially released between 1983 and 1994. It has since morphed into more of a blog about old Japanese video game stuff and other retro treasures from the 1980s in general, albeit one with a heavy dose of Famicom related content. As the word Famicom in Japanese is used generically to mean video game console and not just to refer to the Nintendo Family Computer, I suppose the blog title is still appropriate.

I hope you enjoy the blog, feel free to browse at your leisure.
