I have an eight and five year old. They are allowed to play video games for about two hours a week (an hour each weekend day). They ended up getting Tamagotchi’s for Christmas though so we are trying to figure out how to navigate that. We don’t let them have cell phones or tablets like most parents do around here. I've got a four year old, and while she hasn't taken an addition to the video games yet, she recognizes Pac Man cabinets when we see one out in the world and (usually very nicely) demands a turn at the joystick. She hasn't figured out the correlation between stick movement and character movement yet, but we'll get there.kerobaroshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05883152342883877095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6892786114932769023.post-53059486344617580422019-12-18T22:12:55.690+09:002019-12-18T22:12:55.690+09:00I'm in the same boat! I limit my 5yo's screen time heavily and I don't like him to have an tablet or smartphone, but I have been letting him play some Mario on the Wii U occasionally. The way I see it he needs to learn to enjoy everything in moderation and that can include video games.

Good luck and Merry Christmas! Maybe 2020 beings us some more Fami goodness on your blog. Take care!Ryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17053802458710566227noreply@blogger.com
